Tomato slices

Garden Tomatoes

Garden tomatoes are great for drying to store for fall & winter cooking.




Wash tomatoes, remove stems and core. Slice 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick slices. Use a plastic mesh screen on the dehydrating tray to avoid sticking. Dehydrate at 135° for 2 hours, turn down dehydrator to 115° and dehydrate for 4-6 hours until dry and crispy.

Step 1 - Wash tomatoes
Step 2 - slice tomatoess and remove stem area
Step 3 - Place on plastic mesh screen on dehydrating trays
Step 4 - Remove from dehydrating trays
