This is as basic as it gets. Just sea salt, a little olive oil, and kale. Adjust the quantity of salt to your taste. You can easily make some leaves too salty, so take care to distribute the salt evenly.
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch kale
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
- Wash kale and spin (or pat) dry
- Separate leaves from stem, and place in a large bowl
- Pour olive oil over kale
- Toss kale with rubber spatula until oil is evenly coated
- While tossing kale, sprinkle salt until evenly coated
- Place kale on dehydrator trays
Dehydrate at 135° for 2-4 hours, or at 115° F (for raw foods) for 3-6 hours (or until crispy)
